Caleb and Marie invited me to photograph my first out of state wedding, and I absolutely had to say YES! They were headed back to Marie’s hometown in Minnesota and getting married at the church where many other family members had been married, University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
It was amazing to see how many of Caleb & Marie’s friends traveled from Michigan to witness their union. They are part of an amazing church community and I’ve had the honor of photographing many of their friend’s weddings. One of Marie’s bridesmaids was getting married back in Michigan just a few weeks later and I was able to capture that day as well!
Their reception was located at Union Depot in St. Paul and was the most stunning space to celebrate at. Union Depot is a functional train station and I was definitely hoping we’d hear a train or two during the evening. The space was massive, but somehow full at the same time with all of Caleb and Marie’s family and friends there to celebrate.
While the details of their day were absolutely gorgeous, the most stunning part was the love from their family and community that Caleb and Marie were surrounded by.
