When your senior asks to climb a tree, go for it.

By the time I’d arrived for Sam’s senior session, he had already kicked off what he referred to as, “clown shoes” and was planning to be barefoot for his session. I love that he chose to lose the shoes and be more comfortable. It worked super well with the light fabrics he chose for his wardrobe and his cool vibe.

Sam seemed extremely comfortable in front of the camera, in a way that I don’t find most high school boys to be. He was relaxed and serious, but every once in a while we’d get him to crack a grin. Honestly, I kept getting flashes of a young Heath Ledger from him. He was willing to try anything, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Sam and his parents. I don’t know about you, but I think Sam could do well if he chose to pursue a future in modeling.
