When I say I can’t wait for grad season, I mean it. I’ve lived in Lansing my whole life and that means that I’ve always lived within 15 minutes of Michigan State University. I grew up riding my bike to the Diary Store, playing at the MSU Children’s Gardens and enjoying a *crisp* fall afternoon screaming, “IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR FOOTBALL”, with 80,000 other people. I may not have graduated from MSU, but I am a Spartan at heart.

Grads are some of my favorite people to photograph because it is such an exciting, celebratory time of life. You’re on the brink of accomplishing something that you’ve been working at for 4 years. You might be gearing up to move to a new city, start a new job or continue your education even further. Your accomplishments deserve to be celebrated and commemorated. I think taking photos at the place that you’ve spend the last few years growing up, making friends, learning and having fun is the best way to do it.

I’ve had the honor of photographing Michigan State Graduates for years now and have tons of amazing tips and tricks to get gorgeous portraits at the popular locations on campus. When you book your grad session with me you’ll have access to my Graduation Session Guide, and I’ll bring a bottle of champagne, or sparkling juice for those iconic champagne spray photos. Reach out today to schedule your session!
